Delivery
There are 3 options for delivering your BigThanks Gift Voucher or Adventure Certificate:
1 Via email in A4 size format, which is sent to the email address nominated and can be printed off by you at no additional cost
2 Via traditional post at a fee of $5
3 Via express post for a fee of $10
Please call us for information on delivery overseas.
We can send the vouchers and gift certificates directly to the recipient, or to another address at your request. If your voucher(s)/certificate(s) goes astray in the post we will provide a duplicate free of charge. Please inform us as soon as possible if you believe this has happened so we can do our best to deliver the duplicate in time.
BigThanks is not liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of an email voucher being blocked by web filters or firewalls. If the recipient does not receive the email voucher, please email us at info@bigthanks.com.au immediately so that we can re-send to an alternative email address. Alternatively, we can change the delivery method which would incur the normal delivery fee of that service.
We are not liable for any loss suffered as a result of a voucher being lost in the Express Post mail process. Australia Post only guarantees next day delivery to certain postcodes from Perth, Western Australia. We accept no responsibility for Australia Post Express Post service. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Experience Descriptions
The information provided by BigThanks on each experience is correct at the time of upload/print. However, the content or format of experiences may change during the year. We endeavour to keep details of each experience current on our website.
Your participation is conditional on your acceptance of the experience description detailed in your booking confirmation. Please check these details carefully upon receipt.
Experience Images
The images used in all promotional literature to illustrate experiences, particularly those that take place at more than one location, are used as an indication only. The vehicles, craft, machines, animals and settings at each venue may vary.
Experience Venues
The BigThanks network of experience suppliers includes many of Australia's best experience venues. We are always adding to the locations we offer, but occasionally we may need to withdraw venues featured here for reasons beyond our control. If your chosen location is withdrawn, you will be offered alternative venues wherever possible, but please note this is likely to be at a different location or with a different experience supplier. Each venue has its own terms and conditions (available upon request) and your participation is conditional on your acceptance of these.
Session Lengths
Session lengths are approximate, vary from venue to venue and are given simply as an indication of the time you will spend at the venue. Unless stated otherwise, you will usually be taking turns with other people and there may be waiting time involved. We give itineraries as a guide only and the running order of an event may change.
Restrictions
Certain experiences are subject to minimum or maximum requirements e.g. age, health or weight. We will confirm with you at the time of booking if any restrictions apply to the participant. Once booked, you may be liable for charges if you have to cancel because the minimum requirements are not met. Full details of each experience are available upon request.
The Weather
Many BigThanks experiences are dependent on the weather. If your experience is cancelled due to the weather you will be able to re-book, but your re-booked experience remains subject to weather conditions.
Availability
All our experiences are offered subject to availability. We will do our best to secure your preferred choice of dates. To help us, please book as early as possible and, in any event, at least 20 business days in advance and further for peak dates such as weekends or holiday periods. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive confirmation by the supplier. You should not make any arrangements in connection with the experience until you have received your booking confirmation.
Where specific elements of the experience such as vehicles are not available due to mechanical breakdown or illness, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions on the day. If this is not possible we reserve the right to cancel the experience at short notice.
Voucher Conditions
All BigThanks vouchers and gift certificates contain a unique computer generated code. This number must be provided to purchase experiences. Vouchers and the associated references must be kept safely and securely. BigThanks will take no responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of impersonation or identity fraud.
The voucher expiry date will be detailed on your voucher and will be a minimum of 6 months from date of purchase. Bookings for dates must be made direct with Suppliers via email or phone before voucher expiry or the voucher will cease to be valid. No extensions of voucher expiry dates are allowed, extraordinary circumstances notwithstanding.
Except as specified herein, payment is non-refundable.
a) Adventure Certificates valid for a specific experience may, at the sole discretion of BigThanks prior to booking, be exchanged for another experience. If such exchange is made, no administration charge will be levied. If your chosen experience is higher in price than the amount originally paid you will only be charged the difference. If your chosen experience is lower in price than the original amount, the balance will be held in credit for you to use against any future purchase. Your new experience, and any remaining credit, will have the same expiry date as the original voucher and is non-refundable.
b) Gift Vouchers allow the recipient to choose from a selection of BigThanks experiences and use the voucher to pay for it in part or in full. When a choice of experience is made the payment associated with the Gift Voucher will be applied to the purchase of the specific selected experience. A Gift Certificate for that experience will then be sent. BigThanks reserves the right to make additional charges for the costs of issuing a new gift Certificate.
The pricing structure of the vouchers can be subject to change by BigThanks at any time.
c) Refunds and Cancellations - Changing a booked date, where possible, amounts to a cancellation, so once your booking has been made you may incur cancellation charges if you have to re-book. BigThanks does not accept re-bookings or cancellations within 20 working days of a booked experience. Cancellation policies vary from venue to venue. BigThanks will not be involved in the bookings of experiences, special circumstances permitting. All bookings and correspondences should be made directly with the supplier.
Sometimes we have to cancel an experience for reasons beyond our control, such as the weather or mechanical breakdown. We regret that, in these circumstances, BigThanks is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled experience.
Refunds are always made to the person who purchased the experience, and if originally purchased by credit or debit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. If the card has expired you will need to request a refund in writing, quoting details of a new card.
Transfer of vouchers
BigThanks gift vouchers and gift certificates are fully transferable until redeemed. BigThanks accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or fraudulent vouchers. It is the holder's responsibility to ensure the safe keeping of the voucher(s) or gift certificate(s).
Inclusivity
We welcome the participation of disabled people in our experiences, though we recognise that certain experiences may present difficulties for those with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that disabled customers are given every opportunity to participate, so we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability at the time of ordering. This enables us to do our best to meet the participant's particular needs. We will be happy to provide information about the disabled facilities available at specific venues on request.
Complaints
We welcome your feedback on all of our experiences. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, please bring it to the attention of the host or experience manager at the venue as soon as possible so they have a chance to put matters right. If you continue to have a problem please do not hesitate to email us at info@bigthanks.com.au and we will do our best to rectify the problem ASAP.
Other Terms and Conditions
Prices include GST where applicable and are correct at the time of print, but we reserve the right to increase the price of any experience without notice. You will be notified of any price increase before you place your order.
In order to maintain the highest standard of customer service and to help with the ongoing training of staff we listen to and occasionally record telephone calls.
Whilst we take every care in choosing our experience suppliers, inclusion of an experience in our range does not mean that we guarantee the safety standards or satisfactory performance of any of the experience suppliers. BigThanks liability for any claim of breach of obligation regarding any single voucher or experience shall not exceed the price of that experience. This excludes claims arising from personal injury or death due to the negligence of BigThanks or anyone for whom BigThanks is responsible.
The text, illustrations and images used in all BigThanks promotional literature are protected by copyright and must not be copied in whole or in part without the express permission of BigThanks Pty Ltd.
All the above terms and conditions apply as a condition of using any voucher, whether or not the voucher holder is the original purchaser. BigThanks reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Neither the purchaser nor the recipient of an experience is entitled to use any BigThanks trade mark or logos. Affiliates who have been accepted by BigThanks onto our Affiliates' scheme will be provided with strict guidelines regarding the use by authorised affiliates of BigThanks trade marks and logos.
