BigThanks is an agent for many local business operators who have their experiences and gifts listed on our portal. We are a one-stop-shop for finding that special gift.
Are BigThanks Prices Competitive?
You bet! BigThanks can be cheaper than going direct due to our bulk bookings and orders with our suppliers.
BigThanks earns a commission from the supplier upon each booking. That way, you will not pay more than going direct.
How do I Contact the Supplier?
All the supplier's contact details will be provided on the Adventure Certificate purchased. Please make sure that you confirm with the supplier where you will be meeting up with them for your adventure.
We are unable to provide supplier details prior to the purchase of an Adventure Certificate.
Where is the Supplier Located? How do I Know What to Bring?
We will provide you with contact details of the supplier on the Adventure Certificate so you can book and confirm the details with them. If there are any items, such as apparel, that are important to the day you will be advised of this at this time.
How will the Adventure Certificates or Vouchers be DELIVERED?
There are 3 options for delivering your BigThanks Gift Voucher or Adventure Certificate:
1 Via email in A4 size format, which is sent to the email address nominated and can be printed off by you at no additional cost
2 Via traditional post at a fee of $5
3 Via express post for a fee of $10

How Long are BigThanks Vouchers VALID For?
All Vouchers and Adventure Certificates are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
I did not Receive my Email Voucher, What Should I do?
Your email security settings may have blocked our email or may have filed them into your junk or bulk folder.
If you have not received your email voucher within an hour of your order please contact us at info@bigthanks.com.au and we will try to sort out the issue for you ASAP. You may need to alter your security settings on your computer.
What CURRENCY are Prices in?
All prices on the BigThanks Australian website are in AUSTRALIAN dollars.
What is the FASTEST way to Receive an Adventure Certificate or Voucher?
If you need a voucher ASAP the fastest way is to select the EMAIL delivery option and pay by CREDIT CARD online. Using this method you should have your voucher sent to your inbox within 30 minutes.
Can I get a Date Extension on my BigThanks Gift Voucher or Adventure Certificate?
Generally no, unless there are special circumstances involved.
Can I Give My BigThanks Gift Voucher or Adventure Certificate to Another Person?
BigThanks Vouchers and Adventure Certificates are completely transferable prior to activation (ie before the date has been organised). Once the date of the experience has been confirmed with the supplier, your voucher cannot be transferred to another recipient.
How do I BOOK A DATE for an Experience?
All bookings are made directly with the supplier.
I have Received a Gift Voucher. What do I do with it?
1 YOU NEED TO GO ONLINE to www.BigThanks.com.au
2 Choose an experience you would like and click "Add to Cart"
3 When you have finished shopping press the "Checkout" button. This will transfer you to our secure payment portal
4 When you are prompted to enter a "Promotional Code" please enter the Voucher number exactly how it is printed on the Voucher
5 The amount allocated on the Voucher will appear as a credit to your total to pay
6 An Adventure Certificate will then be sent to you for your chosen experience
What Happens if I can NOT ATTEND the Confirmed Day of my Experience?
If you cannot attend your experience on the date confirmed, you are responsible for contacting the experience or gift supplier directly ASAP. As a basic minimum, most suppliers require at least 48 hours notice, however this may be significantly more depending on individual suppliers. If you don't you may incur a cancellation fee or even the full cost of the experience. The supplier's details are provided on the Adventure Certificate.
What Happens if I do NOT WANT to Go on My Experience?
If you do not wish to take the experience stated you are able to transfer the dollar value of the experience to a BigThanks Gift Voucher. To do this simply send the Adventure Certificate back to BigThanks by Post to:

along with a name and email address, and we will email you out a Gift Voucher.
Please note the Voucher or Adventure Certificate cannot be redeemed for cash.
What Happens if the Weather is Bad?
In the event that the supplier cannot complete your experience due to bad weather, your experience will be rescheduled. You will need to arrange this directly with the supplier. There are no refunds available, the experience will be rescheduled.
What Happens if the Supplier Cannot do my Experience?
In the event that the supplier cannot complete your experience due to circumstances such as mechanical failure, your experience will be rescheduled.
What is the Difference Between a Gift Voucher and an Adventure Certificate?
Gift Vouchers are like cash or travellers cheques, think of them as a credit to the BigThanks website. They are available in any denomination above $50 and they can be used as part or full payment to purchase gift experiences.
Adventure Certificates are gift cards that provide the holder with a specific experience. They can be exchanged for Gift Vouchers if the holder is unhappy with the particular experience held.
