DESCRIPTION: Calling all board sailors, or potential board sailors...
Waterstarting is a perquisite for maximising your short board sailing. It is an essential skill to acquire before being able to confidently tackle gybing.
The Windsurf School is run by Former Australian and many time Victorian windsurf Champ, Luke Meyers who started sailing 25 years ago at the age of 8 and is renowned for his technical know-how, professional teaching skills and racing knowledge. A patient, friendly guy with great passion for all things windsurfing whether it's water starting, gybing, tuning your equipment for peak performance or getting to the next level.
The Syllabus:
The Dynamics explained
Beach Simulation
Board and rig positioning
Lift off techniques
VENUE: Sandringham, Victoria
DURATION: 1 Hour
VALID FOR: 1 Person (Minimum class size is 2 people, Maximum is 5 people)
RESTRICTIONS: Classes run from 10.00am to 1pm (13.00)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All equipment, vest and wetsuit is included, or you can bring your own.
