DESCRIPTION: Enjoy an evening sailing experience on our beautiful Swan River. Watch the sun set over the city whilst cruising on board our yachts.
PRICE: $440 (includes GST).
Price includes instructor fees and yacht hire (2 hours).
VENUE: Our yachts are located at the South of Perth Yacht Club, Coffee Point, Applecross. Parking is available outside the yacht club grounds.
DURATION: 2 hours.
Time schedules are flexible, but during the summer months twilight sails usually begin at around 5.30pm and finish at around 7.30pm. Winter time schedules usually begin an hour earlier to take advantage of the sunset.
VALID FOR: 4 persons.
Groups up to a maximum of 40 people can enjoy a twilight sail any night of the week.
RESTRICTIONS: Guests are required to have a basic level of swimming ability to particpate in this activity. Children under 6 years old are not permitted to attend.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The temperature is usually a little cooler on the river so it is suggested you bring a windproof jacket or jumper, along with sun protection gear (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen). Sailing can be conducted in bare feet although we recommend comfortable running shoes or deck shoes to avoid any stubbed toes!
The South of Perth Yacht Club has excellent bar and restaurant facilities so why not make a night of it and get a group of your friends together for a twilight sail and then enjoy dinner and drinks after your sail (menus do vary so call the yacht club in advance for dinner options. Drink prices at standard bar prices).
NB: Consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited on this twilight sail.
