DESCRIPTION: Jigging for Samson fish is a truly amazing experience! Named for their incredible strength, the Samson Fish is thought to be, pound for pound, one of the strongest and best fighting fish in the world. You could even win a complimentary day fishing trip for two people if you beat the 50kg Samson fish barrier!
Expert tuition in jigging techniques is provided by our specialist crew for customers who have never battled a Giant Fish on steroids. We guarantee that you will have the fight of your life!
There will be a prize of a complimentary day fishing trip for 2 people for any of our customers who beat the 50kg Samson fish barrier plus an additional $1000 in cash if you can beat the record of a 52.7kg fish.
The Samson jigging season runs from November to February. We provide the latest Shimano spinning reels and Shimano jigging rods.
Our record fish was caught by one of our Japanese passengers in 2003 and weighed a whopping 52.7kg!
VENUE: Departs from and returns to Hillarys Boat Harbour, Perth.
DURATION: Approximately 8 hours. Operates between November and February only.
VALID FOR: 1 person.
RESTRICTIONS: Bookings are essential. Only available between November and February.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We recommend that you wear clothing of a lightweight material for most days & occassions. It is recommended to bring along a jacket / jumper as the conditions at sea are often harsher than you will experience at the Harbour. You are also recommended to wear appropriate footwear at all times during the charter.
