DESCRIPTION: This delicious High Tea, complemented by a glass of their own White or Red house wine, sourced from the Swan Valley, consisting of gourmet cut sandwiches, lavender scones with thickened cream, butter and rose jam, mini quiches, a selection of mouth watering cakes, sweet delicacies and seasonal fruits followed by tea or coffee. Our tour highlight is a fantastic High Tea at the Valley View Restaurant (overlooking the vineyards and fields of the Swan Valley with views to the Darling Ranges) prepared for you by Stephen Connor (Awarded by Queen Elizabeth for excellence in food nutrition) and his team.
Our High Tea highlight will follow a leisurely drive to the Swan Valley via the 1830’s Historic Village of Guildford stopping for a morning tasting of freshly brewed coffees at the Yahava Koffee Academe. Daily, coffees from all over the world, are freshly roasted and ground for our special tasting sessions. Then a full wine tasting with cheese at Edgecombe Brothers to taste their Whites, Reds and Fortified Wines produced in the Swan Valley. Also a large range of Jams, Preserves, fruits and Olives are available for tasting and purchase, along with seasonal fruits and vegetables.
After High Tea we will visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company to Taste Chocolate and see them making Delicious Chocolate Treats which can be purchased. Then before returning to end our day we will conclude with a visit to the family run and owned, Pinelli Wines.
Their range of premium wines represent the pinnacle of winemaking in the Swan Valley. Pinelli Wines combine the best parcels of grapes together with the finest winemaking techniques to produce a wine ideally matched to any fine dining or special occasion. Also, born from their European culture where a glass of wine was enjoyed with a meal around the dinner table, their easy drinking 2 litre house wines represent excellent value for money and are also an ideal accompaniment to a barbeque or gathering with friends.
Our tour will conclude back in the city around 04:00pm.
