DESCRIPTION: There is no better way to explore the pristine Mornington Peninsula coastline than experiencing this 3 hour Sea Kayak tour. Using these eco friendly vessels enhances the opportunity to encounter dolphins, penguins and seals while gliding through the translucent water.
Your sea kayak tour begins in Portsea and includes a quick briefing covering terminology, equipment use, skills and safety procedures. Our highly experienced guides also educate kayakers on the marine life and points of interest along the way. Then we make our way along Point Nepean National Park, and into the Dolphin Sanctuary. All along the tour, your guide will tell you all about the history of Port Phillip Bay and the marine life you encounter. After making your way closer to the Heads, you'll turn around and head towards Sorrento, past the hilltop mansions and private piers, before returning to Portsea.
This is a truly magical way to discover what a wonderful place Port Phillip Bay is.
VENUE: Tour departs from 3755 Pt Nepean Rd, Portsea, Victoria. Approximately a 1.5 hour drive from Melbourne CBD.
DURATION: Allow 3 hours for the whole experience (2 hours paddle time).
VALID FOR: 1 person (Aged 12 years +)
RESTRICTIONS: Bookings Essential. Participants need to be at least 12 years and of age and of reasonable fitness/confidence level. Children under 14 years will be teamed up in a boat with an adult.
