DESCRIPTION: What better way to experience the Aussie bush, rainforest and spectacular views than on horseback. Enjoy a morning or afternoon half day horse riding tour.
Our horse-riding trails meander through beautiful bushland and rainforest, allowing you to get in amongst nature and experience it first hand.
Our trails are perfect for absolute beginner riders through to the more experienced rider. We hand pick your horse for your particular skill level, provide you with a safety and introductory riding lesson and then split groups into skill levels so as to ensure you have a safe and fun horse riding experience.
Itinerary for your Half Day Horse Riding Tour;
8.30 am / 1.30 pm : Pick up from your accommodation in Cairns / Northern Beaches (if needed)
9 am / 2 pm : Arrive in Kuranda. You will be met by friendly staff who will greet you with morning or afternoon tea and go through the formalities.
9.30 am / 2.30 pm : Helmets fitted and horses assigned. Safety lesson. Tour commences through the bushalnd and surrounding complex. Native Australian forest and rainforest surroundings provide interesting and adventurous trails and also have many native animals and birds.
11.30 am / 4.30 pm : Return to tour operator venue. BBQ lunch for the morning tour and home style meal for the afternoon tour.
12.30 pm / 5.30 pm : Return to your accommodation.
VENUE: Kuranda, Queensland. 35 minutes west of Cairns. Complimentary pick up available for accommodation in Cairns and the Northern Beaches.
DURATION: Approximately 4 hours. Pick up from your accommodation in Cairns / Northern Beaches at either 8.30 am or 1.30 pm.
VALID FOR: 1 Adult (14 years and above)
RESTRICTIONS: Bookings are essential.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: For safety reasons you should bring the following clothes and provisions: Long pants. Covered shoes (no thongs or trail sandals, runners are OK). At least a T-Shirt (no Singlets or sleeveless shirts). Optional items that may be helpful: Sunscreen, Bush hat or truckers hat, Sunglasses, Socks.

Yes, up to two per booking - if they wish to enjoy the morning/afternoon tea and BBQ (am) and or sandwiches (pm), the fee is $15.00 per person.
