Camel Tour with Candlelight Dinner

DESCRIPTION: Enjoy a fantastic camel tour through the mallee bushland as well as a candlelit three course gourmet dinner.

This fantastic adventure begins an hour before sunset. It leaves from the Camel Farm and travels through the mallee bush land. Because of the time of day you’ll get to see plenty of kangaroo’s and wallabies, sometimes even an emu or two and occasionally Eddie the Echidna. The views over the township of Quorn, across the Willochra Plain to the Horseshoe Range beyond are stunning. As the sun sinks lower on the horizon you’ll leave Devils Peak behind you and descend into the Pichi Richi Valley. 

An hour after beginning your ride you will arrive at a quaint turn of the century stone cottage, to be greeted by your chef for the evening. Spend a few minutes, glass of bubbly in hand, watching the sun set and the first stars wink on in the evening sky. The menu has been personally designed by the award winning chef and will include a three course gourmet adventure for your palate. After you have relaxed by the fire, sipping coffee and absorbing the sounds of the bush, you will be transferred back to Pichi Richi Camel Farm and the conclusion of your evening.

VENUE: The tour departs from the camel farm in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia.

DURATION: 1 hour camel ride.

VALID FOR: 1 person. A minimum number of 2 people required for the tour to operate.

RESTRICTIONS: Bookings essential. Tours may be cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions in which case they will be rescheduled for another date. All participants are required to wear a helmet.

What to Wear:
- Comfortable clothing, including long pants – even if it’s warm.
- Closed in shoes.
- Peaked caps can be work under your helmet.

What to Bring:
- Camera.
- Hat / sunscreen / lip-cream / sunglasses.
- Small water bottle (up to 1 Litre).
- Insect repellant.

What is Supplied:
