DESCRIPTION: The Introductory course is designed for those with little or no experience with rock climbing or rope-work.
The focus of the two-day program is on developing your skills and confidence in setting up the safety systems (belay systems) associated with climbing, with considerable time spent on the rock developing personal climbing technique.

VALID FOR: 1 person. Minimum numbers for course to run is 3 people and maximum 8 people.

All rock climbing and abseiling equipment including climbing boots (please advise your boot size when booking)

Vehicle for instructor/equipment transport and emergency response as required
It is suggested you bring:

Packed lunch, snacks and at least 2 litres of water (3 litres on hot days)

Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent

Rubber band to tie back long hair

Comfortable loose clothing (tracksuit pants, not too short shorts)

Comfortable footwear (runners, boots)

A retainer strap for all glasses and sunglasses. Should you depend on glasses or contact lenses for comfort and survival we strongly advise bringing a second pair.
