Mitchell Falls Explorer Scenic Flight-Heli-Walk Combo (Child)

DESCRIPTION: Another world in a day! A plane will take you to explore the remote Mitchell Plateau, a helicopter will take you low and slow over the Mitchell Falls and then you will be dropped off at the falls for a walk and/or swim.

Explore the remote Mitchell Plateau flying over El Questro Wilderness and Drysdale River National Parks before landing at the Mitchell Plateau airstrip.

Connect with a helicopter for a flight over the spectacular Mitchell Falls before we land there to drop you off.

At the Falls, you will spend almost two hours on the ground where you can take a self-guided walk (refer Conditions below), swim and enjoy a pre-packed morning tea.

You will have plenty of time to photograph the spectacular surroundings, before being picked up by a helicopter and returned to the Mitchell Plateau airstrip.

Re-board the aeroplane for views of Port Warrender, Kalumburu, King George Falls, Berkeley River Gorge, Cambridge Gulf and Adolphus Island before landing back in Kununurra.

DURATION: 7 hours. Available from 1 May to 30 September

VALID FOR: Price is valid for one child. Tour requires a minimum of two passengers to be confirmed.

RESTRICTIONS: The walking area at the Mitchell Falls is classified as an Unmarked Route up to “Class 6” level of difficulty of Australian Standard AS 2156.1-2001 - Walk Trails, Class 6. This is an opportunity for highly experienced walkers to explore remote and challenging natural areas without reliance on managed tracks.

Key Track Characteristics: No modification of the natural environment. May include steep sections of unmodified surfaces. Facilities generally not provided. Users require previous experience in the outdoors and a high level of specialised skills, such as navigation skills. Users need to be self-reliant, particularly in regard to emergency first aid and possible weather hazards.
