DESCRIPTION: See the best of Western Australia's marine wildlife and spectacular coastal scenery departing from Rockingham.
Highlights Include:
A 2-hour dolphin watch cruise to meet Rockingham's famous wild dolphins with morning tea served onboard.
A visit to a local mussel farm to see how these tasty shellfish are grown and harvested. Rockingham is famous for it's mussel industry - we will get a fresh bag straight from the farm and cook them up for you to try our guides tasty secret recipe.
Bus transfer along the coast taking in beautiful Rockingham Beach, the Catalpa Memorial and the Shoalwater Marine Park.
A 45-minute cruise on our glass bottom boat to explore the crystal clear waters of the Shoalwater Island Marine Park. The highlight of this cruise is visiting the beach at Seal Island to see Australian Sea Lions at play and viewing a remote breeding and nesting colonies of Australian Pelicans.
Your cruise concludes on Penguin Island - a conservation park for birds and home to 1200 Little Penguins.
Lunch served under the trees at Penguin Island's popular picnic ground that takes in spectacular views of the marine park. Watch out for the friendly skinks, banded rails and Osprey!
Entry to the Penguin Island Discovery Centre to get a close up look at the Little Penguins being fed and to learn all about their natural behaviour from the Island Rangers.
Your choice of a guided walk to explore the island, relax under the trees in the picnic area or enjoy a swim. A network of timber boardwalks gives easy access to spectacular coastal lookouts and secluded beaches. Your guide will bring the history of the island to life and point out more of the diverse bird life.
PRICE: $63.00 per child under 12 years (includes GST).
Price includes children's entry to the Penguin Island Discovery Centre (value: $3.50).
NB: Child rate applies to 12 years or younger and must be accompanied by a full fare paying adult.
VENUE: Cruising Yacht Club Jetty, Rockingham Western Australia.
DURATION: Meet the Dolphin Watch Boat at the Cruising Yacht Club Jetty located on Val Street, Rockingham. Boat departs at 8.45am, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior.
Tour finishes at the Wild Encounters Gift Shop at Mersey Point so passengers require their own transport to drive between The Cruising Yacht Club and Mersey Point. (If you are dropping passengers off, we may be able to transport them on our bus subject to room being available).Tour Returns to Mersey Point at approx 2.15pm.

RESTRICTIONS: All tours are subject to weather conditions. Maximum group size is 29 pax (Groups between 29 to 58 pax can be organised please contact to discuss). Minimum numbers to operate is 6 passengers.
Tours operate 7 days a week from September 1st to May 31st weather permitting. Closed June, July and August for Winter and December 25th for Christmas.
