Ultimate Rally Drive Day

DESCRIPTION: Now this is the one for the serious motorsport enthusiast.  A full day rally driving experience to learn the tricks of the trade, and not being rushed doing it.

This is the best way to spend the most time with our instructors and crew, driving our rally prepared Subaru WRX Sti's and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo's.

In this comprehensive day of rallying you also get to drive courses not usually available on any of our other days.
Your day begins around 8:30 booking in, morning tea, a welcome and intro briefing into the world of Rally Driving. We include some of the basic rally driving techniques that will not only help keep you safe, and develop throughout the day, but most of all to coach you into achieving the most from your time behind the wheel. But, we cannot teach you all of it in the classroom, so is outside to the 4WD turbo rallycars to practice the driving techniques which will not only amaze you, on the dirt, but make you think differently about your driving on the road.

Our professional instructors are with you in the car to coach you the whole way, building your speed and confidence lap after lap.
We will break for lunch with the team, discuss what we have done, and what we are about to do!

After lunch, it is back to the driving, and this is where we will usually throw in a different car as well, just when you start getting confident.

In Victoria the afternoon session will include another two different track combinations. In Queensland you get to drive a course we generally reserve for our hotlaps. At our track in Sydney we head over to the Forest Stage for a track walk where the bumps, humps and gateposts increase the sensation of speed threefold!

The grand finale is a hotlap with one of our professionals, our best advice...Hang-on!

As a special incentive each driver can nominate a guest who has purchased the day as a gift, to join us for  the day including lunch, and also experience what all the fuss is about, enjoying a hotlap for themselves. All included!

The day usually finishes up around 3pm.

RESTRICTIONS:The height/weight limit is 6'3" (193cm) and 130kg. All participants must hold a current drivers licence or provisional licence. Must be able to drive a manual vehicle (See Below for More Information)

What about my Guests?

The guests (your fans!) of each driver will also have the chance to purchase themselves a hotlap and experience what 'all the fuss is about', being driven at championship pace by one of our professional instructors.

Guests are also catered for with Morning/ Afternoon tea and refreshments available for the duration of the course.

Who can Drive?

Anyone aged 16- 90 with a drivers licence. We will also accept a driver who may have temporarily lost their licence as we would for a 15 year old car club member with a CAMS licence. However, speak to us if you have any questions about this. Our cars all have manual transmissions and a clutch. You need to be able to competently drive a manual car.

What to wear

Please be sure to wear long trousers, closed in shoes and at least a t-shirt, polo top or whatever is suitable for the prevailing weather. (No singlets, shorts, sandals or thongs) Guests also need to meet these requirements if they are enjoying a 'hot lap'.

Weather

Good 'dry' weather required for Rally Driving on Dirt. The Judgement and final decisions are made at the track by our experienced professional drivers. Wet is sometimes fun and challenging, but it lots slower and often more dangerous. Our V8 Utes are scared of the rain.

Number on the Day

Depending on the course chosen, you will join a group of between 8 and 18, sharing a number of cars. Watching the others can be half the fun!

We have a range of cars on the day  from our fleet including Subaru Wrx STi's, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo's or our RWD V8 Ford and Holden Utes.* (you do not have to choose now).
