DESCRIPTION: Would you like to see the Sydney Basin from the air?
We head west out from Bankstown and take in views of the Penrith Lakes area, Camden and Narellan, and the Blue Mountains.
See the Penrith Lakes where sand and gravel quarries have been turned into lakes and is now known as the "aquatic playground" for the people of Western Sydney. Penrith Lakes area is of great significance in Australia’s European, Indigenous and natural history. This area is one of the earliest rural settlements in Australia with connections to our convict, settler and early military past and is one of the five ‘Macquarie Towns’.
Next we head to the "jewel in the crown" of the south western part of Sydney, located on the banks of the Nepean River, Camden is today a lovely example of a traditional Australian country town. Narellan is a newer suburb and we may be able to see man-made lakes, cascading streams and Mount Annan Botanical Gardens.
Then gasp at the views as we fly over the Blue Mountains and get a closer look at nature in all her majesty.
