Hot Air Balloon Flight with Breakfast (Child)

This hot air balloon flight provides you with a unique opportunity to explore this vast and beautiful region from the air as well as enjoying a delicious breakfast!

Your experience commences 15 to 20 minutes before sunrise. You will meet with your pilot at Limestone Park, Griffith Road, Ipswich (next to the helipad and wind sock). From here, you will be taken to the launch site where you can either participate in the inflation of the balloon or you can stand back and take some photos, the choice is yours!

It is then time for us to lift off and soar peacefully over the beautiful and diverse region. Passengers enjoy superb & glorious views whilst discovering the Greater Brisbane region encompassing the heritage city of Ipswich & over the beautiful Scenic Rim region with the Great Dividing Range as a backdrop. Experience the thrill of rising gently above the earth’s mist, drifting gracefully, effortlessly and silently through the air. The emotions, the views, the freedom will never be forgotten.

Your flight will last for approximately one hour, after which it is time to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Country Comfort Motor Inn's 4 star restaurant. Your pilot will also present you with your personalised commemorative flight certificate to conclude the morning's activity.  

The flight will last for one hour, but the memories of this experience will last you a lifetime!

VENUE: Meet your pilot at Limestone Park, Griffith Road, Ipswich (approximately 20 minutes before sunrise, the exact time will be confirmed when you make your flight booking). This experience takes place only 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.

DURATION: Approximately a 60 minute balloon flight. Total program is 3 - 4 hours in duration including balloon flight

VALID FOR: 1 Child (aged 6 to 12 years). Passenger must be accompanied by a consenting adult.

RESTRICTIONS: Bookings are essential. Passengers must be fit enough to climb into the traditional wicker basket and stand unaided for the duration of the flight. Please advise if you have had recent back or leg injury/surgery. Maximum weight limit of 130kg per passenger, those weighing over 115kg will attract a 50% surcharge. Passengers who are pregnant are not able to fly.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: What To Wear & Bring: As it is an active morning in the outdoors, it is suggested that passengers wear clothes that can get stained or dirty. Wear sturdy closed shoes, warm socks, a cap, and sunglasses. It is suggested you wear layered clothing as it is cool in the air during the flight. Dress as though you are going for an early morning bush walk. High heels are not suitable. DO NOT FORGET your camera and fresh batteries!

WEATHER/CANCELLATIONS: The flight may be cancelled due to strong winds or unsafe weather conditions in which case you will be able to rebook for another date.
