30 minute Helicopter Trial Introductory Flight
DESCRIPTION: Experience the unbridled thrill of flying a Helicopter in an exciting hands on session with one of our qualified Instructors. If you have always wanted to experience the thrill of flying a helicopter - this is your chance to fulfil your dream. This flight will provide you with an enjoyable and thrilling hands on feel for what it's like to be behind the controls of a helicopter.
The experience will begin with a briefing on flying techniques and safety before climbing into the cockpit of our dual controlled Training Helicopter. Then it's time to get airborne and the trills continue, your Instructor will take you through the start up procedure then once you're in the air the controls will be handed over to you one at a time until you're in full control, you'll get to test your skills at maintaining a steady flight path, changing direction and you can even try your hand at hovering.
This amazing experience will provide a unique perspective on being a pilot all while feeling the amazing adrenaline rush of manoeuvring these amazing aircraft. If you really want to complete the dream and become a pilot your trial introductory flight can be logged as part of your training hours.
VENUE: Trial introductory flights are available in Melbourne and Tasmania. In Melbourne, the heliport is located at Moorabbin Airport, just 45 mins from Melbourne CBD. In Tasmania, the heliport is located at Launceston Airport, just 15km South of Launceston.
DURATION: 30 minute helicopter flight. (Flight and Breifing will take approximately 1 hour)
VALID FOR: 1 person (aged above 16 years).
RESTRICTIONS: Participant Details: In accordance with standard aviation regulations, restrictions may apply to passengers who are pregnant, suffering medical conditions such as breathing difficulties or heart conditions. Please note any medical conditions on booking. Bookings Essential.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: What to wear, comfortable clothing and footwear. Your flight may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, in which case you will be able to re-book for another date. Passengers in excess of 90kg should advise this on booking the flight.
