DESCRIPTION: This course is designed for all types of four wheel drive vehicles.
Conducted on our purpose built four wheel drive circuit, this practical training course provides familiarisation in actual off-road conditions.
GET THE BEST FROM YOUR VEHICLE BY:
• Understanding the characteristics of 4WD vehicles
• Correctly negotiating sand obstacles
• Knowing ideal wheel placement
• Handling rough terrain
• Selecting the right gear and also when and how to engage four wheel drive
• Experiencing stall out and stall recovery
• Completing ascents and descents
• Negotiating humps and ditches
• Responding to transmission wind up
• Practicing environmental consideration -
(minimising environmental impact)
VENUE: RAC Driving Centre, Perth Airport, Western Australia
DURATION: 1 Day
VALID FOR: 1 person
RESTRICTIONS: Full drivers licence or P Plates required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Participants to supply their own vehicle.
