DESCRIPTION: Learn to skydive and experience the thrill of 60 seconds freefall on your very first jump from 14,000 feet!
Undoubtedly the best way you can learn to skydive! Internationally recognised, this course involves about 9 hours of comprehensive training before you jump.
Having learned the skills of freefall and flying your parachute, you exit the aircraft with two instructors actually holding on to you, just to make sure everything goes to plan.
You have approximately 60 seconds of freefall before you open your parachute and pilot it back to the ground.
VENUE: York, Western Australia (approximately 1 hour east of Perth).
DURATION: Training is 5:45pm - 9:00pm approx, Tuesday and Thursday at our Perth office. You are required to attend BOTH training nights. This training is followed by further training on the day of your jump (usually Saturday) at the drop zone in York.
VALID FOR: 1 jump per person.
Group bookings are welcome and friends and spectators are more than welcome!
RESTRICTIONS: Minimum age 18 years. Maximum weight limit 105kg. Must be able to speak and write English.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The largest and only award winning skydiving centre in WA operates a world class skydiving centre located approximately 1 hour east of Perth in the Avon Valley. Comprising a purpose built 1,000 square metre air-conditioned complex and private airfield, it includes a swimming pool, sauna & licensed bar and café.
We have a great safety record and over 155,000 people have jumped with us over the last 10 years. All instructors are Australian Parachute Federation qualified.
If you would like to purchase digital photos and/or a DVD of your adventure, then please confirm your requirements when you confirm your booking. An expert freefall photographer will fly with you in freefall to take your footage and photos. Packages available are:
The DVD includes some of your training, boarding the plane, the ride up, exiting, the entire freefall, your parachute opening and the landing. The photographs follow a similar format.
