I Day Introductory Paragliding Course with Photo and Video
DESCRIPTION: Fly solo from a small training hill or fly a tandem from a 1500ft mountain!
Located in Bright, North East Victoria, this paragliding adventure will offer a spectacular setting for you to enjoy this remarkably pure form of flight. Whether you want to enjoy the sensation of free flight as a tandem paragliding passange or learn to fly a paraglider for yourself, this is one of the most comprehensive training packages in the country!
A typical one day course would go as follows:
9am: Meet at the Active Flight Paragliding office (unless alternate arrangements are made) for administration and equipment familiarisation
10am: Travel to training site (approximately 10 minutes drive)
Learn how to inflate, control and land a paraglider (generally referred to as ground handling)
1pm: Break for lunch
Depending on weather conditions and group preferance, the afternoon will consist of a couple of small flights from a 100ft training hill or a tandem flight with an Instructor. During the tandem paraglide the students will be flying the paraglider.
Flight debrief and issuance of flight certificate.
VENUE: Bright, Victoria
DURATION: Allow 1 Whole Day
VALID FOR: 1 person.
RESTRICTIONS: Minimum age is 15 years, maximum weight is 130kg.
