DESCRIPTION: Enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Yarra Valley and a delicious breakfast. This is a truly remarkable experience and there certainly is no better way to take in the lush hillsides of the Valley, just 50 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Meet your hot air balloon pilot half an hour before sunrise for a short safety briefing. You will then be taken to the balloon launch site, where you can either participate in the launch or stand back and take some pictures. It is then time for lift off! A place of diverse and rich history stretching back to the first settlers, the Yarra Valley is home to 90 vineyards and 35 wineries, many of which hold a reputation for creating world-class wines. The Yarra Valley is also renowned for being one of Victoria's largest tourist destinations. Let the breeze usher you in a hot air balloon along corridors of grape vines and over the Yarra River as you take in breathtaking views of mountains that surround the spectacular valley. After we land and pack the balloon away, we head back to Rochford Wines where you can celebrate your morning's adventure over a delicious breakfast.

Your flight will last for approximately an hour, but your memories will last a lifetime. You will receive a beautifully presented flight certificate as a souvenir of your adventure.

VENUE: Meet your pilot at Rochford Wines in Coldstream, half an hour before sunrise (the exact time will be confirmed with your booking).

DURATION: Approximately a 60 minute balloon flight.

VALID FOR: 1 child (aged 6-12 years).

RESTRICTIONS: Bookings are essential. Minimum age of passenger is 6 years. Passengers must be fit enough to climb into the traditional wicker basket and stand unaided for the duration of the flight. Please advise if you have had recent back or leg injury/surgery.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: There are a maximum of 10 people per basket. What To Wear & Bring: As it is an active morning in the outdoors, do wear clothes that can get stained or dirty. Wear sturdy shoes, warm socks, a cap, and sunglasses. It is suggested you wear layered clothing as it is cool in the air during the flight. A change of socks as yours may get wet and cold in the early morning dew. High heels are not suitable. DO NOT FORGET your camera and fresh batteries!

WEATHER/CANCELLATIONS: The flight may be cancelled due to strong winds or unsafe weather conditions in which case you will be able to rebook for another date.
