DESCRIPTION: See Rockingham's famous wild dolphins, meet the world’s smallest penguins at Penguin Island and take a glass bottom boat cruise through the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park to see rare Australian sea lions.
Your adventure begins with our 2 hour Dolphin Watch cruise through the ruggedly spectacular Shoalwater Islands Marine Park. With over 20 years of friendship and trust built up with the local dolphins, we are able to offer visitors a unique insight into the lives of these fascinating creatures. Our guides love what they do and will make your experience fun, entertaining & informative! Our eco adventure boat brings a real element of adventure to the experience. It’s a 12.5 metre, high performance, rigid hull inflatable boat- it’s best described as a ‘four wheel drive of the sea’. It provides a superior ecotourism experience because you’re closer to the water and there are no barriers separating you from the environment. Covered open air, theatre style seating puts you right in the adventure- seeing the wildlife up close, feeling every thrill and experiencing the beauty of the marine park first hand.
Our cruise concludes at beautiful Penguin Island- a beautiful, unspoilt nature reserve in the heart of the marine park which is home to WA's largest colony of little penguins. Most visitors come to see the penguins being fed at the Discovery Centre but also enjoy white sandy beaches and secluded bays perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Penguin Island also boasts a beautiful picnic area overlooking some of the best coastal scenery in Perth and a shallow sheltered beach ideal for kids. Make sure you pack a picnic basket!
