60 Minute Balloon Flight over the Hunter Valley
DESCRIPTION: Up up and away drifting over the Hunter Valley with a small select group of people....
Once at the launch site the balloon is inflated and prepared for take-off. Your friends and family are welcome to experience the excitement of a balloon launch and watch you take off and bid you farewell as you float gently over the undulating valley below. Following the flight of approximately one hour the balloon will land, be quickly packed up before we all return to the meeting location to enjoy a fine glass of Hunter Valley bubbles. Your family and friends are of course welcome to join in the celebrations.
After 10 years of flying exclusively in the Hunter Valley your pilot will show you the best of the landmarks, wildlife and scenery the valley has to offer, and with only a few people on board you are assured 1st class service from start to finish.
VENUE: Hunter Valley, NSW (1 hour to the west of Newcastle, and 2 hours north of Sydney) DURATION: Approximately one hour. (Allow 4 Hours for the whole experience) VALID FOR: 1 Person (Minimum of 2 people per booking up to a maximum of 10) RESTRICTIONS: Bookings essential. Hot air ballooning relies on suitable weather conditions in order to proceed safely, and flights may depend on mechanical performance or staffing availability. When conditions are deemed by the Pilot to be unsuitable or unsafe to proceed, then the flight will be re-scheduled. All passengers must be fit and well with good knees, hips and back, we will not fly pregnant ladies. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All passengers meet at the Mercure Resort, Hunter Valley Gardens in Pokolbin, from here you will be taken to one of the 20 launch sites, selected on the morning to give you the best possible flight over the valley depending on the wind direction of the morning. You will meet approximately 45 minutes before sunrise, however this time varies throughout the year, 5am at the earliest, and 6:30am at the latest. What shall I wear? Long trousers, covered shoes and a long-sleeved top/jacket, and a hat. What shall I bring? Camera and/or video are essential. Your mobile phone, and your Booking Confirmation which will have directions for the meeting place and the pilot's mobile phone number.
