DESCRIPTION: Learn more and achieve results faster with a private one on one lesson as it is specifically tailored to your current ability, and is a great confidence booster for any level.
Beginners learn all the basic fundamentals of skating from correct stance, pushing, turning and stopping. For intermediate to advanced levels the lesson focuses on teaching you how to skate at a skatepark, and covers respecting the rules, safety, know your limits, progression steps, tricks, and how to skate like you have never skated before and more.
Anyone from age 5 can learn to skate, or have you already mastered the basics and want to learn a few more techniques then this is the class for you. Beginners learn about the components of a skateboard. They are then shown the fundamentals of how to stand on a board, how to push, turn and stop. Intermediate-advanced students are assessed by a coach to determine their skill level. The instructor will work with them on specific tricks and techniques.
Skateboarding is an exciting and fun sport and it has a number of important benefits which are:

Skateboarding is good for the soul, and it helps with surfing, snowboarding and wakeboarding as there is great a synergy between these sports as they use similar muscles and movements.
VENUE: Moore Park Netball Courts, Sydney Bondi or Maroubra Skatepark, Sydney
DURATION: 1 Hour
VALID FOR: 1 Person (Adults or children from the age of 5)
RESTRICTIONS: All new students must have a parent/guardian over 18 sign a Registration Form. We request that parents of 5-6 year old students stay nearby while the lesson is in progress. For older children, we request that you are contactable on your mobile phone. Coaches ensure that students remain in or nearby the skate area for pick up.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Students are fully padded (knee, elbow and wrist pads plus skate helmet). Hire of skateboards and safety gear is included or students can bring their own. Students must bring a drink to all lessons. Students must wear comfortable clothing and wear sneakers/sports shoes. Our coaches teach with a method that minimises risk. In the case of wet weather, the lesson will be rescheduled.
